Maintenance Is Important for Weight Loss
Research suggests that following a maintenance program is the best way to stay healthy and keep off the weight you have worked so hard to lose. Lead by Michael J. Perri, a team of researchers focused on the impact of maintenance treatment in preventing rebound weight gain in weight loss programs They found that those who followed a weight loss program with a maintenance component were more successful at keeping the weight off. Those who did not follow a maintenance plan with their weight loss program actually experienced rebound weight gain. |
